The below is an official statement from the International Animal Welfare Protection Coalition
The IAWPC has been made aware of video footage posted on social media (April 19th 2026) with the caption, ‘Dispensaire Animalier Regional de Arjat – 2026’.
The IAWPC had been sent this and other footage claiming to be from the Al Arjat dispensaire, in March 2026. After taking legal advice, on March 25th 2026, and in the capacity of ‘Whistle Blowers’, we sent the footage to the Moroccan Government’s Head of the Public Health and Green Spaces Division at Morocco’s Ministry of Interior, Mohammed Roudnani and copied in the head vet of the Al Arjat dispensaire, Dr Lhor.
We asked Mr Roudani to – Personally intervene and facilitate an urgent independent assessment of the current conditions for animals at the Al Arjat Centre’.
We also asked Mr Roudani to respond to the IAWPC within 48 hours of sending the email. We had no response.

L’IAWPC a été informée de la diffusion d’une vidéo publiée sur les réseaux sociaux (19 avril 2026), accompagnée de la légende : « Dispensaire Animalier Régional d’Arjat – 2026 ».
L’IAWPC avait déjà reçu cette vidéo ainsi que d’autres images, prétendument issues du dispensaire d’Al Arjat, en mars 2026. Après avoir pris un avis juridique, le 25 mars 2026, et en qualité de « lanceurs d’alerte », nous avons transmis ces images au responsable de la Division de la santé publique et des espaces verts au ministère de l’Intérieur du gouvernement marocain, Mohammed Roudnani, en mettant en copie le vétérinaire en chef du dispensaire d’Al Arjat, le Dr Lhor.
Nous avons demandé à M. Roudnani d’intervenir personnellement et de faciliter une évaluation indépendante urgente des conditions actuelles des animaux au centre d’Al Arjat.
Nous avons également demandé à M. Roudnani de répondre à l’IAWPC dans un délai de 48 heures après l’envoi du courriel. Nous n’avons reçu aucune réponse.

توصلات IAWPC بمعلومات على واحد الفيديو تنشر فوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي (19 أبريل 2026)، ومعاه هاد التعليق: “Dispensaire Animalier Régional de Arjat – 2026”.
وكانت IAWPC توصلات بهاد الفيديو وبفيديوهات خرين اللي كيتقال باللي جاو من مستوصف الݣلاب ديال العرجات، فشهر مارس 2026. من بعد ما خذينا استشارة قانونية، نهار 25 مارس 2026، وبصفتنا “مبلغين عن المخالفات”، صيفطنا هاد الفيديوهات لرئيس قسم الصحة العمومية والمساحات الخضراء فوزارة الداخلية المغربية، محمد رودناني، وديرنا نسخة للطبيب البيطري المسؤول فمستوصف العرجات، الدكتور لهور.
طلبنا من السيد رودناني أنه يتدخل شخصياً ويسهل إجراء تقييم مستقل ومستعجل للحالة الحالية ديال الحيوانات فمركز العرجات.
وطلبنا حتى من السيد رودناني يجاوب IAWPC فمدة 48 ساعة من بعد ما تصيفط الإيميل. ولكن ما توصلنا حتى شي رد.
